            No issues - jeep Tj

I bought this after having issues with an old gas gap. Happy to report after 200 miles that I have no check engine light on or any issues. Perfect replacement for my ‘97 TJ 2.5L 4cyl.

made my engine light go on

I would avoid this. Made me have to get the engine light checked.

            Worked perfect

Locks like it should and unlocks like it should. I installed this on my 97 Tj and it has not caused the check engine light to come on like some others do. My only complaint is this cap is significantly smaller than the stock cap. Would recommend though

            Did it's job

I keep getting an error code 31. It seems that the gas cap rubber seal rotted off and the new fixed it, besides just going thru a hurricane were people where stealing gas. It did its' job and removed the error code and keep my gas safe from thieves.

Throws Diagnostic Code P0455 Evap Emissions Leak

Really wanted an inexpensive locking gas cap. Bought this one, a day later got a check engine light. Took it to O'Reilly Auto Parts, plugged in the diagnostic checker and got the P0455 Code for Evaporative Emissions System Leak. The guy checked my gas cap and was like "Oh, dude it's this gas cap. It doesn't seal." So went home, put old cap on and next day, check engine light is off. Swapped it 2 more times just to make sure and it 100 is the gas cap. Went back to stock and no check engine light since. Ugh. :(

            Gas Cap

Works well enough; can't/ won't complain. Would probably be best if I remove the stock cap, lanyard and all.

            it did not work

It did not fit and caused my engine to put up a warning code of either the gas cap or a vapor canister.

            Perfect

Fits perfectly and easy to use. The nozzle catches when its unlocked, and it circles when it's locked. I would definitely recommend this product. The keys keep out anyone that you do not want to have access.

            Keep thief's out

The gas cap fits perfectly. The only major issue I came to was that the service engine light came on, but I took it down to a mechanic and they could not find any issues. This gas cap works like it's supposed to. It keeps people from steeling your gas.
