Key Features. Nothing's more miserable than suffering from a leaky door weather seal. This replacement seal is a direct fit, so it'll fit juast as well as the stuff that originally came on your rig. Not only will it keep water from rain or snow out, it protects against cold air seeping into the interior and freezing you in the dead of winter. Just like the stock setup, the seal goes around the full steel door on your Jeep, creating a tight fit around the tub and hardtop. The rubber gasket is positioned on the inner portion of the door frame. Thanks to hard plastic anchor points and included clips, the guesswork of the installation job is eliminated.
Construction. The full door seal is made of high-quality rubber that's designed to deal with extreme heat, cold, dirt and everything else that's common with rugged outdoor vehicles. The anchor points are injection-molded plastic, as are the clips, which are included with the seal.
Installation. The installation for this full door seal is on the advanced end. It does require getting the holes in the door frame perfectly lined up with the anchor points on the seal, something many people find to be difficult. Attaching the clips is relatively simple. Plan on the job taking an hour or two of your time, at least. No tools are required to successfully complete it, but you will need to be patient and thorough to achieve an air-tight seal.
