This solid steel axle boasts of a tensile strength of up to 181,000 psi. It’s 35% stronger than factory axles due to additional manufacturing processes that make it suitable for high-performance applications.
Built to Surpass OEM. The Nitro Gear & Axle Dana 30 Front Axle Assembly is made of high-grade 1541H steel. This steel has a higher tensile strength of up to 181,000 psi compared to ordinary carbon 1040 steel with only 120,000 psi. The axle is further refined through CNC-machining and reinforced with computer-controlled heat-treatment.
Direct Fit Installation. This axle assembly was designed and manufactured for a precisely fitting replacement to your factory axle. If you are not confident enough in your mechanical skills, leave the installation to your trusted mechanic.
