Can I replace the d- ring brackets and install my Blue-ox tow bar adapter to this bumper?

        • The D Ring brackets will bolt to the frame, providing a sturdy mounting point on the Off Camber Fabrications by MBRP Front Full Width Winch Bumper, however we do not have any experience with your tow bar to state if this would work with this bumper, or if there would be issues. We recommend contacting MBRP and Blue Ox to verify fitment together in this situation to ensure safe, reliable usage.

I got a grill guard for Christmas but it didn't fit my front bumper. I just have a normal 2013 Jeep Wrangler bumper with no upgrades to it. Would I need to get a whole different bumper to be able to get a front grill guard, or are there some that would fit my bumper???? 1 answer

            Off Camber light bar

The product is made in China. Seems sturdy. We had to cut a piece off the old vacuum pump housing so the bar hardware would fit. Didn't say that in the instructions. Looks good going down the road. Took around 3 hours to install. If you don't have a lot of mechanical knowledge I suggest you find someone who does. We had to cut a hole in the plastic piece in between the bumper and grill. Didn't say that in the instructions either. Had to remove the bumper. I like it because it covers most of the grill.

Unfortunately this product does not fit all aftermarket bumpers. Despite the description saying it should. We returned it amd will keep looking.

            OCF Bumper

The bumper itself looks really nice. Adds a nice touch to a Jeep. Took a lot longer to install than expected, like 4-6hrs. Also, it doesn’t say it but you need to purchase a vacuum relocation kit unless your handy then you can do without it. Sits like it should. No rattling or weird noises.

            Parts missing

The bumper is a beast and one more chunk of metal. I can't wait to get it installed but the box was missing the D-rings, d-ring brackets, the other brackets and all the mounting hardware. I have contacted Extreme Terrain the day after Christmas about the missing parts and it was Saturday so they had to wait to Monday get with MBRP. Sorry for this but Jen answered the phone call and she was GREAT very helpful. When I get the parts I will up-date this review.

            Big and Bad!

Was hoping this would be a good old fashioned bolt on weekend project. Heard rumors the hardest part was taking off the OEM bumper. Turned out that was the easy part! Discovered this thing called a vacuum canister is mounted to the frame right behind the original bumper. The replacement bumper of course needed this to be relocated. That was all news to me! Decided to have a local 4x4 shop that had experience doing such do the installation and relocation for me. Bumper does look great and gives us the "look" we were going for. Very heavy duty and Jeep worthy appearanc!

            Looks great hard to install

Looks great on the jeep. Had to disassemble the hole front end of the jeep and relocate the vacume pump and cut the bracket off the frame just for a light bar.

            Strong, durable, hard to install

Very happy with the final product. Very strong, thick and sturdy. Installation was extremely troublesome. I have a 2015 and the vacuum under the front bumper had to be relocated about 4 inches over to allow for the right side bracket to fit correctly. Overall it was worth the time but be warned for 2015 JKU owners that it will require some time.

            Worth the wait

First of all once installed it looks fantastic. The process of installation was a pain in the poor husband had to buy a bigger electric cutting tool to cut the bar. Also we did research first about installing this bar and lucky we ordered a vacuum pump relocator as we didn't know this either. It would've also delayed the whole installation process. The whole thing (just installation) took about 5 hours!!! My husband did everything 'properly' including doing a good job sanding down the holes that needed to be cut in the front bumper section. If you know what you're doing expect a few hours at least to install, or best thing would be to get someone to install for you. I noticed there's a tiny rust dent starting but a little black touchup paint will fix.

            Goo room for expansion

Really good bumper very solid. You will need some metal cutting blades that were not mentioned online when you install it.
