LT265/75R16 Mickey Thompson Baja ATZP3. With scalloped shoulder lugs and extra-wide footprint, the Mickey Thompson Baja ATZP3 tire offers ample traction and stability. An aggressive hybrid of all terrain and mud terrain tire design means this tire will stand up to the challenge of the trail, while still providing on road performance. This tire is great for weekend warriors and multi use Wranglers.

Will stock lug nuts be long enough, or should I purchase a new set?

    • You can reuse your factory lug nuts but I would recommend using a thin wall socket or purchasing a new set of spline lug nuts.

Hello, what is the weight of the Mammoth 8 17x9 wheel by itself? And is it hub or lug centric? Thanks...

    • This wheel weighs 24.7lbs and is hubcentric to the Wranglers.

A lot of these rims have a complaint regards center caps fall off. Is there an upgrade for the center caps that stays on better?

    • Mammoth does offer some other center cap options which can be found under ourWheel & Tire Accessories tab.

I have a 2018 JK, 2/5" MOPAR lift, stock rims with new Nitto terra grappler G2 in 285/75/17 size which rubs when the steering wheel is in furthest left/right. Will these rims fit and also cure the rubbing?

    • If you have stock wheels, these would indeed help. In terms of width, these wheels can support as wide as a 12.5 inch wide tire, which is over an inch wider than the wheels you currently have. In terms of height, as long as your lift is at least 2.5 inches tall you should be good to go.

Will these wheels work with 35x12.5x17 tires without using spacers?

    • These wheels will allow you to mount 25x12.5x17 tires with no wheel spacers on a stock height or lifted Wrangler JK or JL

      Great, Clean Look

Love the simple, retro style these provide. The touch of chrome and overall clean look makes them stand out from the many needlessly complex, fake bead-lock, black wheels. The only con for me is the plastic center cap. I've read where these can go missing easily—so I added a touch of clear silicone to secure them to the wheel. Seems to do the trick.

      Great looking wheels

I had my eye on these wheels for a couple of years, finally pulled the trigger and couldn't be happier with them. Balanced nicely, no flaws in manufacture and they look much better when on your jeep instead of on the pages of a catalog!

Review from Mammoth 8 Aluminum Black Wheel - 16x8 (07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK)

Makes the tires look beefier; but problem with cap

These wheels look so good on my JK! Loving the silver and black contrast - it actually makes my tires look beefier. The only issue I have with these wheels are the Mammoth plastic caps. I haven't tested these wheels off-road yet but I'm sure any huge bump and one of these caps will come right off. They are not tight and can easily pop off. I recommend some super glue so you're not having to buy replacement caps in the future...

      Love these rims

These rims have held up great when I’m out wheeling on old logging roads and 4 wheeler trails I was a little worried at first with them being aluminum but off the trails I get a lot of compliments on how I have “sweet rims dude” I’ll enjoy them until I have to get another set

Review from Mammoth 8 Aluminum Black Wheel - 17x9 (07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK)

They look awesome on my black jeep unlimited

Wrapped these Beauties in some DC Extreme Country 305/65R17 @ 35 PSI they run very quiet and smooth. The offset leaves the tires standing proud of the fenders @ 1.5" for a nice aggressive stance. The finish is very nice and pretty much matches the finish on the jeep. Do yourself a favor and get a good set of splined lug nuts to go with. It will look better and you won't need to buy a thin walled socket to get the factory nuts on and off.
