I mounted the lights and ran the wiring harness only to discover that the relay was faulty and did not work. The instructions leave much to be desired, but the lights look good. A perfect rating requires a perfect product...Helpful (5)

Decent, would buy again
Little bit pricey for what they are, but I didn't want an LED bar. I had these installed on a light bar above the windshield, and the wiring didn't reach quite far enough. Ended up having to butt splice in another couple feet. Still, they look fantastic once I finished.Helpful (5)

Will these lights plug into the existing factory fog light system on a 2010 jk?
The KC HiLiTES 5 in. Apollo Pro Halogen Lights will come with a wiring harness and relay but can be cut and spliced into the factory fog light harness.
Is there one switch for both lights or one switch for each light?
There is one switch, wiring harness and relay to operate both lights. (1) Switch as stated in "What's in the Box".
Just getting started with my 1st jeep and clueless on so much, once these are mounted, where is the switch? Can it be added inside the jeep and if so, do I need to purchase an additional switch?
The KC HiLiTES 5 in. Apollo Pro Halogen Lights will include a switch and wiring harness. The switch can be mounted inside the cab wherever you choose.
Regarding my question on a cover i understand in some states these require a cover right?
This question will vary between state to state as far as light covers would be needed.
How do I know if they are street legal or not?
Unfortunately, these are not DOT approved lights.
This would not come with any mounting no.
Th difference between fog beam and spread beam in relation to the KC HiLiTES 5 in. Apollo Pro Halogen Lights is a spread beam is similar to a driving beam but tend to be brighter, wider and possibly taller as they are not required to follow specific SAE or ECE safety standards. Spread beam lights are great lights for multi-purpose off-road use. Fog beams would be intended to be mounted below the headlights and project a beam pattern which is very wide horizontally and narrow vertically usually called a cut-off. This pattern lights up a pathway close to the ground but does not light the airborne particles in the line of sight while driving - this increases the visibility in harder to see conditions.
Yes, the KC Stone Guards are completely removable from the lights.
Thank you for your question! A spot beam is more concentrated, direct, and easier to point and control. A spread beam can illuminate a larger amount of space with the same wattage and lumen output as a spotlight. And a fog beam is flat and wide, and they are positioned low on the car, usually near the front bumper.
Thank you for your question! The KC HiLiTES 6 in. Apollo Pro Halogen Light - Fog Beam - Pair are not DOT approved. We would suggest checking with your local laws and regulations to see if you can use these for street use in your area.
The KC HiLiTES 6 in. Apollo Pro Halogen Lights - Driving Beam - Pair (87-17 Wrangler YJ, TJ & JK) will fit on the stock switch panel of a JKU.
Hello! Although it may take a little bit of custom work, this can be done, we have seen it a few times!
Hello, each light comes with its own mounting bracket, it will depend on where your looking to mount them, in order to determine if the stock mounting bracket will work.
Hello, since these lights have more output then the stock Fog Lights we would recommend using the wiring harness that comes with the lights, that way you will know for sure that those wires will be able to support the extra output these lights have.
Hello, yes this will work with the Barricade Light Bar.
