I have a set of 6" pocket rivet flared fenders on my TJ '01 Sports, and I am wondering if these will fit correctly? Thanks!

Seamo

  • Depending of the design of your fender flares, these may fit, but will most likely need some minor trimming. Please contact our Customer Service department for further technical assistance.

I have a 2004 Wrangler TJ and would like to purchase mud guards for front rear. A previous question was answered that these would not fit well on the front and a suggestion was to use http://www.extremeterrain.com/rugged-ridge-splash-guard-kit-jk-1164210. However, the suggested P/N fits JK models and do not list TJ's. What do you recommend for front rear on TJ models. Thank you in advance for your reply.

Glenn

  • Thank you for your question, at this time we do not offer front mud flaps for the TJ models.

What do these attach to because I'm taking off the stock bumper and fenders?

Nathan

  • Hello, these do attach to the stock bumper, so if you were to remove the bumper, you wouldn't have the exact placement as shown in the pictures.

They fit both front and/or rear?

Anonymous

  • Hello, although it may be possible to install them on the front, fitment will not be the same as the rear. If your planning on running rear and front mud flaps, we would recommend going with a kit like this one: http://www.extremeterrain.com/rugged-ridge-splash-guard-kit-jk-1164210.html

Love the Jeep rear mud guards. However, I wish they would make the same mud guards for the front as well. I'm spending the money for a product, I shouldn't have to be the one to make revisions to it to make it work for my vehicle????? Am I the only customer who feels this way?

Solid Quality, don't fit lifted cars.

When the mud Garuda arrived I was excited to fit them on but I realized that with a lifted car I couldn't fit them anywhere. However, they were a very sturdy material and even came with the right size screws. I reccomend these to you but only for a STOCK CAR.

    Nice Mud Flaps

These Mud Flaps look as though they are made from good quality material and look very nice installed. The only thing I wasn't thrilled with was how they mounted in the wheel well. But still a worth while purchase

    Look for a full kit

I bought these because safety regulations in my area require mudflaps for anything lifted. I have a 1998 wrangler and I could not figure out a way to get these mounted. I only gave 3 stars but it's not an issue with the quality just an issue with saying these are for my year wrangler and not coming with anything to use to mount them. I ended up buying a quick disconnect kit that bolts on to the frame. I'd suggest you do the same unless you want to drill into your fenders. Since I had also bought the flat fenders, I didn't want to make holes in them already.
