This chromoly front axle shaft has a variety of features that leave your old carbon steel OEM in the dust. First off, the tapered shaft is designed to maximize torsional strength and reduce stress risers. This is a critical improvement that pays off especially with high-performance applications like off-roading, towing, and hauling. Next, the u-joint is machined to allow the use of full circle snap-rings instead of c-clips. Full-circle clips are more secure fittings than factory c-clips.

This allows the company to have complete control over the manufacturing ensuring high-quality standards are followed. This kit is made of 4340-Chromoly alloy, a very strong metal which can withstand higher levels of stress than the regular alloys used in OEM. The body is gold-zinc plated to increase resistance to rust and corrosion.

10-Year G2 Warranty. G2 warrants the G2 Dana 30 Chromoly Axle Shaft Kit to be free from factory defects for up to 10 years. This covers defects in material and workmanship but excludes damages from normal wear and incidentals. A full list of exclusions is listed on the manufacturer’s website.
