How to Install DV8 Off-Road Windshield Double Row Light Bar Mounting Bracket (07-18 Wrangler JK) on your Jeep Wrangler

Installation Time

50 minutes

Tools Required
  • Ratchet with TORX T40 Socket
  • Product comes with a Hex 5MM Allen wrench
  • If installing by yourself. Recommended: Soft Rag, Tape and Vise Grips

Note: This Installation guide is to show you how to install the DV8 Off-Road Windshield Double Row Light Bar Mounting Bracket only. The lights will determine which nuts, bolts and washers will be used to secure them to the light bar mounting bracket.

1. Remove only the five (5) factory TORX T40 bolts from the windshield bracket on the driver side. Keep these bolts as you will reuse them.

2. Remove the plastic washers if they come off when removing the TORX T40 bolts. Place the plastic washers back in to the windshield bracket holes.

3. Place the Driver Side bracket on the driver side of the Jeep. Secure the bracket using the factory TORX T40 bolts. Do Not tighten all the way.

4. Attach the Light Bar Bracket to the Passenger Side Bracket using two (2) of the supplied M8x20 Hexagon Bolts. Do Not tighten all the way.

5. Remove the same five (5) factory TORX T40 bolts from the windshield bracket on the passenger side. Keep these bolts as you will reuse them. Remove the plastic washers if they come off when removing the TORX T40 bolts and place back into the windshield bracket holes. Place the Passenger Side Bracket on the passenger side. Secure with two Bolts but do not tighten.

Note: If installing the Windshield Double Row Light Bar Mounting Bracket by yourself. Tape a rag around the end of the Light Bar Bracket that will be secured to the Driver Side Bracket. The rag will help prevent damage to windshield.

6. Secure the Light Bar Bracket to the Driver Side Bracket using the last two (2) of the supplied M8x20 Hexagon Bolts. Do Not tighten all the way.

Note: If installing by yourself. Hold the Driver Side Bracket and the Light Bar Bracket together using a vise grip. A vise grip may leave marks on the bracket. You may want to place a rag between the brackets and the vise grip to prevent damage.

7. Secure the Passenger Side Bracket with the last three (3) factory TORX T40 bolts. Tighten all bolts on passenger side and driver side.
