These are made of strong billet aluminum with stainless steel Heim joints for easy operation. These hood hold-downs are not just functional; they also lend a stylish industrial look to your hood that’s a huge step up from boring factory hood latches.
Impressive Quality. DV8 Locking Hood Hold Downs’ patented design with billet aluminum turnbuckles and stainless steel Heim Joints is made to withstand extreme outdoors. The hood and fender latches are secured using a stainless steel Quick-Release pin attached to a stainless steel lanyard to prevent loss.
No Drilling Required. The DV8 Locking Hood Hold Downs are direct replacements of your factory hood latches. This means that you don’t need to drill additional mounting holes on your hood and fender. Simply use the existing mounting holes on your Jeep to secure the hold-downs. After the installation, you can tighten the hold-downs using the turnbuckle to get the optimal fit for your particular Jeep.
