I'm Ryan from extremeterrain.com, and this is my review of the Delta LED 7-inch headlight kit fitting all 2007 to 2016 JKs. The headlights on the JK are notoriously dim, and they definitely make it hard to see at night. So if you're looking to upgrade your headlights to get a little bit more output and have an LED headlight, all without breaking the bank, these are a pretty nice option. It is important to remember that these aren't going to produce the same amount of light or the same clear beam pattern as a fully built complete LED projector headlight. This headlight kit is a couple of different pieces all put together for your convenience. The reflector is a 7-inch reflector designed to fit any traditional H4, HB2, or 9003 headlight bulb, and it has a glass prismatic lens. Each of the bulbs that come in the kit have three individual LEDs on them. Two of the LEDs come on during the low beam and the third on the high beam to give you a little extra brightness. As you can see, the bulbs have a traditional H4 connector on the back of them, but the Jeep has an H13 connector, so the kit includes an H4 to H13 adaptor. One thing I don't love about the bulbs that are included in this kit is that all three LEDs are on the same side of the bulb. When you turn the high beams on, you do get a little bit of extra brightness but you're not actually changing your beam pattern. Generally, you want your high beam to throw light everywhere - up, down, side to side - so you have a really clear picture of the road in front of you. With these, you're going to get a little bit of extra brightness but still only have that low wide beam pattern. Swapping out the headlights on a JK is a really simple process. The first thing you'll have to do is remove the grille and you can do that by popping off a couple of plastic clips along the top of the grille. Once those clips are removed, you just give the grille a tug and it'll pop right off. That'll give you access to the torx screws that are on the headlight retention ring. Once you remove those screws and remove the ring, the old headlights will pop out and the new ones pop right back in. You will have to use the included adapters. With those, the whole process is completely plug and play and you won't have to do any wiring. Installation shouldn't take you more than a half hour. The only tools you'll need are a torx screwdriver and a flat head screwdriver or a trim tool to remove those plastic clips Like I said before, these are LED bulbs in a traditional reflector housing. They're going to be less expensive but also produce a little bit less light than a full LED projector headlight. There's a reason for that. The lights inside of an LED projector headlight can be really, really bright. That's because the projector controls the light. It controls the beam pattern and gives you a really sharp cutoff to keep the light out of the eyes of oncoming traffic. With a reflector housing like this, it's a little bit more difficult to control the light so the lights can't be quite as bright. If you're looking for the brightest, highest quality headlight with a really crisp, clean pattern, we do have those LED projector headlights available for a little bit more money. But if you're just looking for something that's going to be an upgrade over stock and give you that more traditional blue white LED color, these are a nice option and they'll definitely save you a few dollars. That's my review of the Delta LED 7-inch headlight kit fitting all 2007 to 2016 JKs that you can find right here at extremeterrain.com.

Lights are a little pricey for their quality
I probably would have rated these lights a solid Excellent if not for the fact that they "pulse" And I notice it most when sitting in front of garage and they focus on my wall. Not noticeable when driving. Yes I installed correctly ---- which you cant do wrong since it's so simple, and this is my 10th modified Wrangler, and I do all my own work....... for the price of these lights I would expect nothing short of "STELLAR". I would expect more than that. I should have just went with some $40 "XXXX brand" blue bulbs and use the other 300 on fuel to drive to Moab instead. :-( 8 minutes to install. xterrain has great service though, and I know I could return items but choose not to, because of the great visibility at night. High beam on these lights is basically not there, the lights are almost same brightness on low or high which I like a lot. I recommend, but only if you dont mind the "electric pulsing" when you are admiring the brightness on your garage wall at night. and no, it isnt a loose connection or improper mount, or other mechanical vibration.
