      Deegan 38 exhaust

I like this exhaust and its solidly made and high quality. What i didn't like is the kinda japanese rice rocket exhaust sound. But this will change when a cold air intake is installed. Then the sound of the deegan 38 exhaust sounds great . Overall its a quality exhaust . I just didnt like the sound before i installed my AFE CA intake. One other thing i think it's a bit pricey for just a axle back exhaust.

      Perfect!

Very easy to install, and sounds fantastic! Combined with the Red Rock cold air intake my Jeep purrs like a V8 and is so much fun to drive now. Especially with a manual tranny, I'm very happy with this purchase and the end result. Highly recommend.

      Nice and Easy.

This was probably the easiest thing, so far, to install on me Jeep. Granted, I know my way around a garage and have had several muscle cars to work on I do have to say Jeeps are the mens version of Lego. So on to the review. Install - This was absolutely easy. 15 minutes max. The whole process was an hour and 45 minutes of it was prep and removal of the old muffler which was a pain to get off. Attach the left mount, push it onto the pipe, attach the right mount and that was most of the work. Leveling and making sure it was nice and straight was easy. Tighten down four bolts and the muffle is done. Shipping - This is where I was not happy and it was a Gibson goof and not a ET issue. Gibson, put some time and effort into packing material. Upon arrival one of the exist pipes decided to exit the box putting some minor damage on the pipe and made it hard to get the cover on. I have driven it about 1 hour so far and I love the sound and will have to compare it to a boat motor. It has that same drone and sound. I personally like it but I know some others don't. I have owned Flowmasters in the past and still love their sound but the Gibson does have a nice aggressive sound. I will try to post an update in about 6 month as to the status especially since Gibson's do have a issue with rusting on the Metal Mulisha, hopefully the Deegans are not the same case.
