Upgrade your 3 to 4.50-inch lifted Wrangler JL’s overall handling when you upgrade to the Bilstein B8 8100 Bypass Series Rear Passenger Side Shock for a 3 to 4.50-Inch Lift. This rear passenger side shock is chock-full of technological advancements all working to provide you with the ultimate in damping performance and handling control. Specifically, this rear shock combines a monotube gas-charged style with a large remote reservoir to provide quicker damping that won’t fade. Additionally, this shock includes velocity-sensitive digressive valving and external bypass tubes that provide a smooth but controlled highway ride. This ensures you’re still able to use your Jeep as a daily driver.

      Independent Compression and Rebound Adjustment. This 8100 series rear shock’s external bypass technology also offers independent compression and rebound adjustment. Specifically, the external bypass tubes feature knobs that you turn to “program” its compression and rebound. This feature provides this shock with ideal damping for a wider range of off-road terrain.

      Sturdy Build Quality. This rear shock’s shock body features a 60mm internal bore design and is machined from high-grade aluminum, offering maximum durability and efficient heat dissipation. Moreover, this shock assembly uses an 18mm chrome-hardened piston rod, making it tough enough to take on the trails. Wrapping up its construction is a quality zinc plating and chip-resistant clear topcoat, providing exceptional protection against corrosion.

      Efficient Install Procedure. This rear passenger side shock utilizes your Jeep’s rear passenger side shock’s location as its mounting point. No drilling or other modifications are necessary. Furthermore, installation requires just basic hand tools to complete.
