Two Differentials in One. The Auburn Gear ECTED Max-Locker is two differentials in one unit. Electronically controlled this differential can change between Limited Slip or Full Locker mode with just the flip of a switch. Designed for use with 27 spline axles and 3.55 or higher gear ratios, this Dana 35 Auburn Gear ECTED Max Locker Differential helps improve your Wrangler's traction and performance.

Heavy Duty Construction. Auburn constructs their ECTED MAX Limited Slip-to-Locker Carrier Housing from ductile iron for superior strength. This rear Differential features aircraft-quality 9310 heat-treated billet steel gearing with a unique cone-clutch design for dependable heavy duty performance and long life.

Recommended Upgrade. Seeing that no gears are included with this Differential, you will need to reuse your factory gear set. A better idea is to upgrade to a new set of steeper gears to improve your Wrangler’s off-road performance.

Professional Installation Recommended. The installation of a Limited Slip Differential can be a very intricate and intimidating process, so mechanical experience is highly recommended. ExtremeTerrain recommends professional installation for the best results.

1 Year Limited Warranty. Auburn Gear warrants the original purchaser that its products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 1 year after the purchase date, or 12,000 miles. Non-rebuildable components of its limited-slip differentials (the differential case and side gear-cone clutch assembly) will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 4 years from the purchase date.

Application. This Dana 35 Auburn Gear Ected Max-Locker Differential for 3.55 & Higher Gear Ratios is designed to fit 1987-2007 Jeep Wrangler YJ, TJ and JK models. Requires use of 27 spline axles.

      2 Top Rated Questions

Hello. I know I have a Dana 35 in the rear. But how do I know Spline Number and Gear Ratio? I understand I need those to order the correct product. Thanks.

      • Axle spline can be checked by counting the teeth on the axle itself, and gear ratio can be checked by counting the amount of driveshaft revolutions vs tire revolutions. Additionally if everything is stock, a dealer can check these based on the VIN.

Will this work with gear ratio 4.10?

      • This would only fit a 3.31 gear ratio or numerically lower like a 3.21 gear ratio.

          Alburn Locker

Got my locker 3 weeks late! Install was tough but done right. If your not a Mechanic than have a off road shop install. I like a E-Locker because there in NO Complessor failuers and or the air line failures in the frozen mud. Locks right up and quiet. Very strong, works well... A few hundred less than a arb or compressor type. Works great!
