But the job doesn’t end there. Raising the suspension also changes the equilibrium of your vehicle and may affect handling and maneuverability. A higher center of gravity also increases the risk of a rollover. In addition to adjusting the drivetrain angles, it is often a good idea to install Jeep TJ wheel accessories, like wheel spacers and adapters. The former is a small metal disc that attaches directly to the wheel hub and pushes the wheels out, thereby giving it a wider track and better stability. The later is used to help fit larger tires to standard wheel hubs.
