2014 Wrangler Dragon Edition - $5,000 Customer Build - November 2016

2014 Wrangler Dragon Edition - $5,000 Customer Build - November 2016

Dave's Story

Dave and his wife Karen have a long history of owning Jeeps. Purchasing their first Grand Cherokee in 1998 but it wasn't until 2015 that they purchased their first Wrangler, a 2014 Dragon Edition. Which Dave says is "The most fun and versatile vehicle we've ever owned". Dave had done some mods to his Jeep, the last one being a 4" lift, but the story changed in December when Dave was selected to receive $5,000 to build his Jeep. “I was so excited, especially when at the time, I was facing surgery and waiting for a MRI appointment. Nothing like the prospects of having your Jeep re-done to lift the spirits! From start to finish the process of picking upgrades, having the them installed and working with the team at ExtremeTerrain has been a blast" -Dave.

The Build

Dave already had a head start on his build, but he put the $5,000 to good use completing his build. A new set of wheels and tires were installed to finish off the stance of Dave’s rig. The entire drivetrain was also upgraded with Chromoly Axle Shafts, 4.56 gears, and a couple of Auburn Gear Differentials. The build was then rounded off with a new rear bumper and tire carrier to hold that 35” spare.

Life After the Build

After the MRI, Dave found out that his tear in his arm didn't require surgery and with his ExtremeTerrain makeover he could now plan his off-road adventures; "We are planning on going on a couple of local trips with our Jeep club, but also plan on going to Dayton, WY or Ozark Arkansas for a Jeep Jamboree. In the meantime, we are enjoying the new stance of our Jeep with NITTO 35" Trail Grapplers mounted on 17" XD Bully wheels along with all the other great mods" -Dave.
