Design. Tuffy's maximum storage security trunk measures 7.75 inches by 42.5 or 33.5 inches by 16 inches. Its complex shape enables placement of two separate storage areas, one at each end, in the portions that project over the wheel wells. These can be blocked off by dividers or the dividers can be removed, creating a single larger space. The trunk is constructed out of 16 gauge steel, with a rugged powder coat finish to protect it from scratches and rust.
Storage Benefits. This trunk offers 2.9 cubic feet of highly secure storage. With its strong 16 gauge steel, sturdy bolt attachment, and locking lid, this container resists all but most determined and well-equipped thieves. There is also plenty of room to keep practically any cargo, including clothing, equipment, camping gear, sports gear, and so on. It is designed for 1987-1995 Wrangler YJ models.
Application. The trunk attaches in the rear cargo area with included Grade 8 mounting hardware. It can be mounted to the floor or to the rear roll bars, the latter using 3 2.5 inch U-bolts, which are not included.
