      Description

Each part is made of durable, corrosion resistant stainless steel, so you don't have to worry about them falling apart easily. In fact, Rugged Ridge backs them up with a 5 year warranty. The metal is polished so it has a mirrored finish, so it cleans up great. At the same time, the design looks decidedly industrial, adding some tough elements to your rig and giving it a more custom appearance. The catches are adjustable, so you can cinch them up if you notice the hood is fluttering too much, getting rid of the annoyance immediately. All mounting hardware is included for an easier installation.

      Construction. Rugged Ridge uses 304 stainless steel for every part included in this Hood Catch Kit. That means extreme durability, and basically zero chance of corrosion ever taking hold anywhere. The different components are polished to a mirror finish, which you can maintain simply by washing them off regularly and applying some wax fairly often. Each component is made to match OE specs, so fitment isn't an issue. The mounting hardware that's included is also made of 304 stainless steel.

      Installation. You don't need to be an automotive expert to install this Rugged Ridge Hood Catch Kit, but you will need over an hour to complete the job, plus basic tools such as a screwdriver and wrench. No drilling or other modification to the Jeep are necessary. The new parts install just like the stock components, using the same mounting points, so you just need to mimic the original setup.

      Application. The Rugged Ridge Hood Catch Kit is designed specifically for all 1976-1995 Jeep CJ and Wrangler YJ Models.
