Description
Tough Side Step and Rocker Panel Guard. Constructed out of thick-walled 3” steel tubing, the Rugged Ridge Textured Black Side Steps for your 1987-1995 Wrangler are designed to be immovable and solid once mounted so that they won’t vibrate while driving or shift under your foot (300 lb weight limit). The heavy-duty steel tubes offer protection to your Jeep’s rocker panels and lower doors, making rocks and stumps glance off rather than scraping or denting the vehicle’s panels. The step pad is UV resistant so that it won’t crack or weaken even after years on the sunniest trails. It has a high traction surface with an aggressive tread pattern that makes you sure-footed even when entering or leaving your Jeep in bad weather, darkness, or other less than ideal situations.
Robust Side Steps. A very strong set of side steps or rock bars, the Rugged Ridge Textured Black Side Steps are strong enough to provide considerable protection to your Jeep’s doors and panels as well as a firm entry/exit assist. The main part of each bar is fabricated from 3” diameter steel tubing with 0.070” wall thickness. The step pads are crafted from UV-resistant nylon, while the mounting brackets are 3/16” powder-coated steel. This component is e-coated and powder-coated for long-term durability.
Needs Drilling to Mount. New mounting holes need to be drilled to securely attach the Rugged Ridge Textured Black Side Steps to your vehicle. The component is shipped with all necessary hardware for installation.
5-Year Warranty. The Rugged Ridge Textured Black Side Steps are covered by the company’s standard 5-year limited warranty.
Application. Rugged Ridge’s Textured Black Side Steps are suitable for use on all YJ generation 1987-1995 Jeep Wranglers.
