Description
Specs. The tie-downs for your Wrangler's windshield keep the windshield from bouncing around when you fold it down to enjoy the summer breeze. The metal loops that secure the windshield, however, can break or even go missing if the hood rusts out. The Black Windshield Tie-Down Kit by Rugged Ridge offers high quality metal loops to replace the stock loops, including 2 footman loops and 2 tie-down hoops, which is everything you need to hold a folded-down windshield steady.
Construction. The Black Windshield Tie-Down Kit consists of four steel loops – 2 footman loops and 2 tie-down hoops – with black powder-coated finishes to keep them safe from rust. These parts serve as a full replacement set for the stock tie-down setup. Drill-free bolt-on installation is typical unless the whole hood has been replaced with a hood lacking factory mounting holes (for example, an aftermarket fiberglass hood). Rugged Ridge's standard 5 year limited warranty against defects applies to these parts.
