Description
Specs. Uncompromisingly tough and burly, Rough Country's Rear CV Driveshaft is 200% as strong as the stock driveshaft, and adds a double cardan joint which helps correct problems caused by 4 to 6 inches of suspension lift in your TJ Rubicon. The carefully placed grease fittings enable lubrication without covering the bottom of your Jeep in grease, while the shaft can bend 30 degrees before binding. This component helps a suspension lift equipped Rubicon handle anything that the trail has to offer.
Construction. Rough Country's Rear CV Driveshaft is constructed around a 3 inch diameter tube and is made of tough steel. It bolts on directly in place of the stock drive shaft, but is twice as strong (200%) and can flex up to 30 degrees before it binds. The double cardan design is tougher and more rugged, and reduces or eliminates rear output shaft breakage and driveline vibration. The rear differential end features a 1330 sized universal joint, and high quality CV joints are included. The grease fittings are mounted well clear of the transmission oil pan. This product is covered by a limited lifetime warranty.
Application. Fits 2005-2006 Wrangler TJ Unlimited Rubicon models.
