This skid plate attaches under a MID front bumper to protect the OE crash bar, plus the swaybar disconnect motor on Rubicon models. Putting a tough 3/16-inch of plate steel between these parts and trouble, the Brawler Skid Plate is a brake-formed component with a faceted outline that both increases impact deflection and keeps ground clearance at a maximum while still doing its job.

Tough Construction. The Poison Spyder Brawler Skid Plate is precision-cut with the CNC laser method from 3/16” plate steel, ensuring exact fit and function. The component is also finished with SpyderShell Armor Coat, a proprietary 6-stage system including zinc-rich primer and a super-durable industrial grade architectural powder-coating that stands up to sun (ultraviolet), weather extremes, and rugged use. Due to its extreme moisture resistance it comes with a 5-year limited warranty.

Easy Fitment. The Poison Spyder MID Skid Plate attaches readily with hand tools, and needs no cutting or modification of the frame rails for installation. All needed hardware and instructions are included with the part. May require trimming or removal of the crash bar.
