Installation. Installting this Air Filter Element is an easy job even novices can take on. You might need some penetrating lubricant to loosen stuck hardware. Other than that, also have on hand a pair of needle nose pliers. You start by removing the wingnuts ont he top of the air cleaner assembly, which you can do by hand. Then it's a matter of gently prying off the metal loop that secures the filter. Remove the old filter and drop in the new one, then reverse the steps to reassemble everything. This should take you about half an hour to complete.
