      Description

      Specs. The MAP sensor helps the computer control the amount of fuel introduced into the engine, among other crucial factors, depending on the volume and density of air flow it detects. When it goes haywire, anything from stalls to backfires to the engine burning rich and getting only half the usual mileage is possible. Omix-ADA's MAP sensor replacement lets you get accurate functionality back after such a problem arises, and provides a direct substitute for the original sensor.

      Construction. This MAP sensor by Omix-ADA is made out of black plastic and is fabricated to provide an exact replacement for stock part number 56029405. It is made to match all of the OE specifications and parameters for the original part. The sensor works with 2.5 liter and 4.0 liter engines, and is covered by the standard Omix-ADA 5 year limited warranty against defects.

      Application. Fits 1997-2004 2.5L or 4.0L Jeep Wrangler TJ Models.
