    Description

Legendary Performance. With a set of Grabber Tires on your Jeep Wrangler, your roads to adventure are limitless. Sold individually, this Grabber Tire is one of the world's most popular treads, delivering unmistakable traction and performance. Designed for off-roading enthusiasts, the General Grabber Tire features a unique Strake and Chamfer design to maximize your traction both on and off the road. Not only that, but advanced reactive contour technology promotes even tread wear.

Big, Quiet Treads. Featuring Acoustic Modulation Sound Technology, the General Grabber Tire's patented sound wave suppression system will significantly reduce your rig's tread noise while on the road. It's a difference that you'll notice immediately, and it affords a sedan-like ride that's amazingly quiet for how aggressive and trail-ready it is.

All-Terrain, All-Weather. The General Grabber's vertical-edge shoulder blocks and multi-angled sidewall protectors give your ride maximum side bite while off-roading and prevent themselves from being punctured by road and off-road hazards that you may come across. This, combined with General Grabber's aggressive tread design, will have you ready for whatever your next adventure throws at you. From adventures off-road to tough, snowy, wet conditions on the road, you'll always be ready with this General Grabber Tire.

Application. This General Grabber is designed for use on any 1987-2017 Jeep Wrangler model. Please select your proper tire sizing from the options above. Sold individually.

What is the best gear ratio to run for larger tires? When you increase the diameter of your tires, your vehicle's engine has to work harder to turn them. Naturally, this will lead to increased fuel consumption and reduced performance. So, when upgrading to a set of larger tires you should re-gear your rig to regain this lost acceleration, performance and fuel economy.

Find your original tire size and gear ratio using the chart listed below, the intersection should be your approximate RPMs at 65 MPH. Then find your new tire size and follow it across to the closest RPM to your original tires, this will be your gear ratio choice.

This chart is based on driving at 65 MPH with a 1:1 gear ratio and a manual transmission in 4th gear. Please note if your vehicle is equipped with an automatic transmission your RPMs will be higher due to normal transmission and the torque converter slippage. In overdrive your RPMs will be approximately 15% to 30% less than indicated.
