Description
Sizing. The Bilstein 5100 Series Shock Absorber has a collapsed length of 15.39 inches, extended length of 26.38 inches, and a travel length of 10.99 inches. The lower mount eye is 12.1 millimeters and the upper point is a bar pin. The shaft diameter is a sizable 14 millimeters and the body design itself is a 46 millimeter ID non-coil over smooth body.
Properties. This is a single tube high gas pressure design that results in the best consistent fade-free performance and longevity. The impressive features include an advanced monotube gas pressure construction, high-flow piston that reduces piston harshness, and larger working piston area for exact tamping. This shock provides impeccable control for larger aftermarket tires and was specifically made for lift kits that use the factory original mounting configuration.
