Hey, I'm Kevin with Extreme Terrain, and this is my review of the Barricade 3 in. bull bar with the integrated skid plate. Now this bar, well, it's a glorified brush guard that's going to give you a heavy-duty look without the heavy-duty price, and quite frankly, without a whole lot of heavy-duty function. But that's okay because there's some features that I really like about it.The wrinkle black powder coat looks great, and it's got integrated light mounts, which is a cool feature to have. We all want to upgrade to off-road lighting. Now the skid plate, let's face it, you come into contact with a pile of rocks, it's probably not going to save the day, but arguably it's much better than the factory plastic skid plate. And in at around the $270 range, it's not going to break the bank, and upgrades your look over stock. One of the best things about it is that it's a simple bolt-on operation. The Barricade bull bar is designed to fit 2010 to 2016 Wrangler JKs, and although the instructions say it's going to take about two hours to install, it only took us about an hour. It's an easy no-drill installation, and you're going to need some metric sockets and wrenches, particularly a 16 mm wrench, and just a decent socket set.Now the bull bar looks pretty tough on the front of the Jeep, and actually this finish blends in really nicely with the factory plastic, but if the wrinkle black powder coat is not your flavor, it also comes in a polished stainless and a smooth powder coat. So the other thing I like about it, other than these light mounting tabs up here, is the fact that it's not going to interfere with your factory fog lights, so you can still keep this lighting. Now, you can't ask it to do too much, but on light-duty trails it will push some brush away, protect your radiator, and the skid plate, well, it's going to work, but you've got to realize that it's just a limited skid plate. So, all in all, it looks cool, and like the rest of the Barricade stuff, it comes with a three-year warranty, so you can't really go wrong. The price is good, the look is good, and I don't know, I kind of give it a thumbs-up. It's a nice little product. So that's my review of the Barricade 3 in. bull bar with the integrated skid plate.
