Bumper
This low-profile mid-width bumper is made of thick steel plate and extends just past the rear panels to keep your Jeep defended when you're coming off rocks. Plus it mounts inside the factory frame for maximum clearance, in fact it actually gains some clearance from the stock receiver.
Tire Carrier
The Tire Carrier consists of a spindle housing that's welded and supported from the top and bottom plate of the bumper. There's a zerk fitting provision in the housing that utilizes our cnc machined, oil impregnated bronze bearings.
The spindle is cnc machined from solid stock and welded to a beefy 2" diameter x .134 wall tubing that has our 1/4 laser cut tire mounting plate. The mounting plate has multiple mounting locations for an adjusted height relative to your tire size. Plus, the mounting holes are ideal for a hi-lift jack.
The kit also includes a tire mount stanchion used to mount your tire to the carrier and a rear gate mounting plate that couples the tire carrier to the gate via stainless steel heim joints.
The carrier rated for up to a 38" tire, and is conveniently designed for effortless single-handed operation.
Finish and Options
The ACE Rear Bumper with Tire Carrier is finished with black textured powder coat and comes with stainless steel mounting hardware and D-ring mounts built in. With the receiver option, it retains the factory tow ratings of 2,000 lbs. for a 2-door and 3,500 lbs. on a 4-door JK.
Installation
By using existing mounting holes, we make the installation process as easy as possible, but don't think we've skimped on rigidity. Our mount actually extends 10" inside the frame rail, making the attachment much stronger than a stock bumper, or nearly any bumper on the market.
